Dear Diary...

Hi, everyone.

Let me start off by apologising for the horrible low resolution photos I am about to post. They were literally taken with my iPhone camera in dim lighting and badly edited in hope to make the images a little more "clear".

Anyway, to the actual post itself:

Anyone who knows me well will understand how much I appreciate pretty (and sophisticated) stationery. It took me a while searching for the "right" diary but I got there in the end. Really happy with the Castelli 2015 diary I had picked out from WH Smiths on the weekend.
I simply fell in love with the touch of the vintage-like ivory paper and the way it was all held together so professionally. I find this fun-sized diary perfect dimension to fit into my bag since my A5 one proved to be too big last year when it came to carrying minimal amounts to town (or wherever I wanted to go).

So my idea?

(Paper is actually an ivory colour but I edited the brightness.
Ps. please don't laugh at my doodles hahaha).

Every page will be filled with notes, quotes and doodles. It will be something I can keep and look back at 10 years, 20 years, 30 years down the line. Hopefully, I will capture some of 2015's best moments, and HOPEFULLY my drawing skills *ahem scribbles* will somehow improve as you turn the pages. I used to be so passionate about drawing back in Primary school and High school, but University sucked that excitement out of me. I want to re-discover that creative spark where pencil touches paper, so with luck, I will.
Also, paying £10.00's (well, £9.95 to be exact) for a diary would be a waste if I was to neglect it so I figured I might aswell make the most out of it- being the Asian that I am.

My diary last year was a life saver. I managed to organise multiple trips/ meet ups/ socials (without clashing ANY dates whatsoever); turn up to every meeting/ interview (because dates and times were jotted down); and celebrate many important events (aka birthdays. Yes, I am terrible at remembering people's birthdays...), so I am certain that my updated diary will serve me well this year too!

(New USB to go with the whole "I want to be organised"
theme. Besides, who can have too many USB's?).

Keep smiling, keep inspiring.
Love L x.

    1. It's always to start the year all prepared and organised, but we tend to slip/ get lazy as the months go by haha! I used to do the same with my notebook but then my notes will be all over the place so I rather keep the two separate now :P And you're welcome, thanks for following also! xx
