Fail to Prepare = Prepare to Fail.

Hi, everyone.

I think that this is the first official Monday (in a long while) where I have not had to think about work or University; not quite sure how I feel if I'm honest since I had let the workaholic in me take over for so long.

It was great not having to set my alarm clock or rush around in the morning. I loved being able to wake up and fall straight back to sleep without having to worry about not making it on time for work. Best feeling ever.

After my mother's home-cooked brunch, I popped a face mask on, made a hot cup of green tea, got my laptop, phone, diary and pens at the ready and prepared myself for an afternoon of phonecalls and emails (and that is exactly what I did). After being put on hold XX amount of times, I finally managed to get a few things ticked off my "To-Do-List". Yes... I have a to do list; it keeps me organised!

I was bombarded with an overload of information. But everything is so much clearer now, and I definitely feel more prepared for when I pack up my life for Australia. The staff are so helpful as always, filling me on everything from laundry facilities to bank cards and even suggested what kind of suitcases to buy.
Forgot to update everyone since my last post... but after working out finances etc, my boyfriend and I have decided to postpone our trip to May instead (technically June since we will be in Thailand for a month). We decided that we needed the extra time to save more money, to fit in all healthcare appointments, to say goodbye to friends and family, to get our summer bodies ready (haha) and to basically tie up loose ends!

May is just around the corner and will come sooner than we think. In the mean time, I'm just playing the waiting game as I look forward to hearing back from employers for a potential temporary job just to save that little bit extra. Wish me luck!
On another note- I'm getting my fitness routine back on track. Let's hope I can keep up my regular exercise, eh. Wish me more luck!
It has been a productive day... perhaps Mondays aren't so bad afterall!

P.s. bought myself a new watch from H Samuel at a bargain price of £9.99. Now I won't have to worry if I was to lose or break this watch during my long walks and adventures in Thailand! Not bad, right?

Keep smiling, keep inspiring.
Love L x.
