Goodbye, 2014!

Hi, everyone!
Hopefully this will not just be another typical year review where people write about how amazing their year has been. Because let's be honest- who has a perfect life?

2014 has been such a roller-coaster of a ride for me. I still remember the stressful tears and sleepless nights caused by final year of University deadlines. Anybody who knows me well will know that I was studying the wrong course. I mean, I love Fashion, but "Fashion Design" just wasn't the right course for me. If I could do it over, I would have chosen Fashion Management, or definitely something more business-orientated instead.

22/07/14, the day that I had lost my dear grandma. She was so brave and loving.
R.I.P, jeh por. Heaven has gained another angel.

2014- the year that the world started talking about ALS, and began to understand how horrible a disease it really is.
Suen Zhi Ho, thank you for looking down on me these past 6 years and being my guardian angel. Gone, but never forgotten.

It really has been an up-down kind of year. But it wasn't all negative.
This was the year I had traveled on a plane to another country for the first time without my family. The year I had learned to let go of fair weather friends and to really appreciate those who I care about.

Some highlights of 2014:
- First EVER New Years kiss. *blush blush LOL*
- Graduated from the University of Leeds.
- Traveled to: Barcelona, Mallorca, Hong Kong, China, Venice.
- First time experiencing go-karting.
- Met some awesome people.
- Completed the "100 happy days" challenge.
- Completed race for life with one of my best friends, raising money for Cancer Research UK.

Despite all the negatives, it has been one hell of an amazing year. I had learnt so much about myself and have been truly blessed with the most loving, honest and friendly people in my life. Just remember that nobody has a perfect life. What matters is how we handle every situation and how we balance the negatives with a positive.
So many new experiences, adventures and memories were created this year. And no doubt will the year ahead be just as amazing, if not better.

I wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR. Always remember to discard the bad, and appreciate the good.

Goodbye, 2014- best year yet. And helloooo, 2015. I'm super excited for what's to come!!!

Keep smiling, keep inspiring.
Love L x.

I know the feeling of losing someone because of cancer, my grandpa died 14 years ago because of it. :(
I'm also excited to see what will 2015 bring to me... this summer I'm graduating from college, can't wait! :)

Best wishes in a new year! :)
