Balance in Life

Hi, everyone.

Apologies for the lack of blogging this week; I have been both busy and lazy. Just a quick post tonight before I head to bed.

Firstly, HAPPY (belated) LUNAR NEW YEAR. May the year of the Sheep/ Goat/ Ram bring you all plenty of luck, health, happiness and fortune for the year to come.

Being the superstitious person that I am, I have been told to be extra careful this year- and careful I shall be. Anybody else believe in superstitious things?

I lost my job earlier on this year (January); my first night leading into the New Year, I had a nightmare; and yesterday I woke up with a red left eye despite getting enough sleep. Let's hope that my "bad luck" ends there, eh...

If there is anything that I have learnt between last year and now, it would be to always find the balance in life. Things will always get better no matter how hard it may seem at the time.
Too often, people crave for a perfect life- but if things were always perfect, how will people see the bad or learn to appreciate the good, right? We will end up taking things for granted. However, having negatives in our lives will teach us that life is about accepting and learning and growing as we come across different situations. Let the positives outweigh the negatives, always.

Here's to a great year ahead.

Keep smiling, keep inspiring.
Love L x.
