March Update: Sydney to Cairns

Hi, everyone.

It has been a while since I last wrote a post- as usual, but here is a little update.
For some reason, I always find myself sipping on tea (current favourite is Lauduree's The Roi Soleil) whilst listening to Canon in D Major as I type- it has almost become a part of the blogging routine!

Sydney to Cairns

So in less than one month, Tom and I will be leaving Sydney (yes, I know, we have spent a lot longer here than we had originally thought; 9 months to be exact) and we will be starting our trip up the East coast come April.

Saying goodbye to the city life to be a beach bum for the remainder of our time in Australia sounds like the perfect plan.
Without a doubt, we are looking forward to the whole experience, but personally, I am most excited about visiting Fraser Island and the Whitsundays. I cannot wait to go kayaking, sailing, glamping (that's camping in a tent overnight on a beach??!), and maybe even spot a dolphin or two before reaching Airlie beach (you guys need to google Airlie- it's beyondddd beautiful!).

Many of our family and friends back in the UK have been asking us when we will be returning home. And the answer is, we still do not know. Perhaps when we are ready, when we feel that we have traveled "enough", when we feel more inspired, or simply when we run out of funds? Who knows? The best plan is to not have a plan!

2016 so far

Other than working 2 jobs, 5-7 days a week, Tom and I have been keeping busy exploring as much of Sydney as we can before we leave. Here are my top 10 photos (minus the first one, which was taken tonight) from the last few months. Please excuse the poor quality since some were taken/ edited with my 3 year old iPhone. Enjoy!

Keep smiling, keep inspiring.
Love L x.
